Easter 2008

Because my grandfather is not in the best of health, we decided to change tradition and spend Easter with him in Maynard, IA. Here's few pics of my niece, Caroline and my nephew, Daniel in their Easter outfits. ~E

And some of the soon-to-be birthday girl. Caroline will be one on Friday and boy can she move - this little girl is fast!

I bought her a few cute hats to go with her new Easter dress but her bow was just too cute. I'll save them for her one year pictures this weekend!

My sister chose this one to use for her one year newspaper photo.

My grandfather is almost 98 and this is his first great-grandDAUGHTER. I love the story these pictures tell.

Who are you?

Can I touch you and maybe even grab your nose?

And now we're friends!

Hey Sarah:
I liked your idea of the cards of the cards inside the chips too, that was cool!

I only have one thing to say about the first two pictures of Caroline and her great-grandpa:
You are a fucking genius with the lighting on them, especially the first one and I know those pictures will endure generations.

You just immortalized one of the magnificent and beautiful moments we are lucky to be given from time to time.

Hi there, Sarah here.

Just wanted to thank you for your kind words, but also let you know that Erin gets the credit for the pictures of her niece and grandfather.

We usually write either a "-S" or an "~E" for whoever is posting images or text, but she must have forgotten. I see that she has added it now though.

Thanks for what you said about the picture of the poker chips and cards. You will have to peek at it again and see if you notice that the cards spell "love." I tried to sneak that one in there. :)

Take care.

Well in that case Erin, you too are a fucking genius!

-S Funny thing I didn't notice about the word Love spelled and it is so obvious now that you said it. I tend to miss very subtle stuff like that, sadly.

I didn't, however, miss some cool stuff you have on your messy room!!

Keep up the good work coming!! Take care.
