Enjoy some shots from a recent Iowa wedding. I have had some computer problems, but am hoping to have the Vegas shots all done today. (Yay!) Look for some shots from the neon museum tomorrow!
Take care.

Wartburg is my alma mater so I was really pumped about this wedding! I think the chapel is one of the prettiest around and have always wanted to shoot a wedding there!

It was pretty cold, but the movement in the bride's dress was beautiful!
This little guy was such a sweetie. He was mesmerized by the action outside.
This shot was actually the bride and groom's idea. I love when the couple has some fun ideas they want to try. It really affirms their enthusiasm of the whole process.
As we drove into town to shoot the wedding, I noticed this cute remodeled Shell station. I knew I wanted to shoot some of just the couple there, but I wasn't sure if they'd be up for it before the ceremony. They were up for that and more!
Since the father of the bride was also the minister, he let us go ANYWHERE in the sanctuary! Thanks for letting us try some things we always imagine but never have the chance to shoot!
The brass quintet.
The prayer.
The chapel was very unique and had a balcony that went around all four sides of the sanctuary. Because we had reign to go anywhere, we were able to be right above the couple. Here's a photo of the "real" kiss - no reenactments!
Because the ceremony and reception were both on Wartburg's campus, the couple decided not to rent a limo or bus as many couples do. So... why not have your best buds pull you in a sled to your reception?
The reception.
And a funny one to end. This one cracks me up every time I look at it!
