Here's some favorites from a recent senior shoot we did in Iowa City. Kelly came to us from Manchester! We're always excited to make connections in new places and are so excited that Bailey (one of last year's seniors) and her mom recommended her to us. So today my husband and I looked at a bunch more homes. I just get more and more confused!!! Buying our first home is soooooooo exciting, but sooooooo stressful all wrapped into one. Today alone we went from putting a bid on an older home, to looking at other options, to considering several newer homes, to meeting with a builder to build our own. I want this so bad but can't handle all of it at once. Really... all I want is to decorate my own space and if we buy a beautiful new home on the salary of two teachers we might have to live in a tent in the living room for the first ten years! Oh, the drama, I know!

Have a great Independence Day! I'm heading home to Maquoketa for some family time (and think time about houses). ~E
