And now time for some dancing! These were the flip flops awaiting the bridesmaids at the reception.





Now this was an intense garter toss!!! The DJ described the event to have several GRI's (Garter Related Injuries).









I presume the bouquet toss was rigged ahead of time?!?


The kids had a candy toss! They were so excited!


This man loves his job! Here he is at the "sistahs" part of "We are Family." What a hoot! :)

Random: Fireside Grill

On our way to a wedding reception in Richmond last night I was in my car behind Erin's car at the four-way stop in Kalona. I saw a sign for Fireside Grill with a picture on it. I knew Erin had taken some pics for Fireside at one point, so I was behind her pointing out my window at the sign, trying to get her attention to ask her if that was her picture. Before she noticed me she started pointing out her window, trying to tell me that was her picture! It was cracking me up. So, we decided on our way out of town after the wedding that we should get a picture of her next to her work.

Anytime: Hillary

I told Hillary, a friend from high school, some time ago I wanted to help her build her modeling portfolio so she could get some sweet images and I could try out some new camera stuff. Well we finally got around to shooting together! We snuck around to some spots I'm positive we weren't supposed to be, but I'm a big fan of the "go for it and appologize later if you have to" policy. :)

Sooo worth it!

Jenna's Baby: in 4D!

I can't even believe how amazing it is that they can do this!!!

I went with my sister to Des Moines to Prenatal Vision to see a 4D ultrasound of her baby. The people were wonderful there. We got a pretty good view of the baby's face, but since we weren't able to see the entire thing they told her she could come back for a free session. How nice is that?!

They jellied my sister's baby bump up and projected the images on a big screen, so I grabbed images when I could!

and we could even see the baby scrunch up its nose to make an angry face!

Jenna is due sometime in the 2nd half of November, so be expecting to see a lot more of that face! :)

Jenna, thanks for inviting me to come with you! I loved it and I can't wait to meet (insert the name you know I want you to choose) when he/she (it's a secret!) is born! Love you!
